Thank You! For such great costumes ideas and templates. I am making 7 tunics for our figure skating carnival in early March and your tunic and cross was exactly what I envisioned. To make even more perfect, the sizing was exactly right for the girls!

I bought that same train cake pan from WS – then saw the same exact one in Wal-Mart for 1/2 price (back in Oct 2010)!! However, I still used the recipe from WS – I had many compliments on the vanilla cake taste (by kids – the biggest critics!) and everyone was impressed with the design. I covered a piece of wood with tin foil, spread green icing on it (you can also do crushed oreos for a dirtier effect), used pretzel sticks for the horizontal tracks and brown icing on each side of the pretzels to connect the tracks. It came out “choo” cute! I put a lollipop in the front train’s smoke stack and that was the one I gave my son. They were the perfect size for kids. And only took about 2 minutes to decorate each car.
